PASTOR R. LEON CLARK, SR.
Pastor Robert Leon Clark was born in Fellsmere, Florida and educated in the Chester, Pennsylvania school system. He has attended Philadelphia College of Bible, New Life Bible Institute, Calvary Bible Institute, and taken courses through The Moody Bible College and Liberty University. Currently, he is working on his thesis for the completion of his Doctorate of Theology through the International Bible College and Seminary of Missouri.
Rev. Clark is the loving husband to Vivian Clark. Their 41 years of marriage has brought forth four children: Marla Lynette Brown (Gordon) of Chester, PA; Robert Leon Clark, Jr. (Carlee) of Chester, PA; Andrea Carr (Victor) of Penns Grove, NJ; Faith Jovan Jones (Jermere) of Chester, PA; fifteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In May 1974 Rev. Jesus Christ. He preached his first sermon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, under the Pastorate of the late Rev. Levi Baldwin.
July 12, he was ordained by the New Hope Baptist Association of Chester and Vicinity. July 27, 1977, Rev. Clark was called and installed at White Rock Baptist Church where he served faithfully until April 1992 when God directed him to Unity Baptist Church. He devotedly served at Unity until January 2000 as God had another job for him to do.
February 2000, Rev. Clark was called Rev. Dr. Norman E. Gant with his new ministry. After Rev. Gant’s untimely death, Rev. Robert L. Pastor of the newly formed Victory Over The World Baptist Church. During his Pastorate of Victory, by the grace of God and direction of the Holy Spirit Rev. Clark has lead his flock to the purchase, construction, and in December 2010 the entrance of a new Sanctuary (2609 West 4 Street, Chester, PA 19013) with a projected new name “Shepherd’s Fold Missionary Baptist Church” to be changed upon completion of the final construction phase. Pastor Clark continues to lead his flock to higher heights in Christ as God grows Victory in Spirit and in Truth!
Pastor Robert L. Clark loves preaching and teaching the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ as noted in I Corinthians 15:1-4—the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is a living witness of the Power of God as his steps are ordered by God through the Word of God. His credentials are renown as he is saved (by the Grace of God) (in the Lambs Book of Life by the Blood of Jesus) (by the Holy Spirit), (by the Will of God)!
